    Marketing Officer

    Marketing Strategy
    Develop the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.
    Build brand awareness and positioning.
    Develop strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic
    Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
    Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
    Evaluate and maintain a marketing strategy.
    Evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing activity
    Contribute to the annual sales and marketing plan.
    Create and develop new innovative ways to communicate the company message to existing customers
    Plan, develop and deliver campaigns as agreed within timescales
    Prepare detailed reports on consumer behavior, competitors' activities, outcomes, and sales.

    Market Research
    Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends.
    Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
    Recommend website and campaign optimizations
    Design market surveys.

    Marketing Analysis
    Measure performance and ROI of online and offline campaigns
    Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement
    Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)
    Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns
    Determine future trends.

    Digital and Social Media
    Design and present new social media campaign ideas.
    Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
    Research and implement marketing tools to support our promotional projects (automation software, social media scheduling etc)
    Implement the social media strategy for the company ensuring it aligns with the company’s brand.
    Engage with customers through the use of social media.
    Monitor social media for customer comments both positive and negative.
    Engaging with customers to resolve customer service issues and or create positive PR opportunities.
    Reporting on social media mentions of the brand internally providing useful feedback to product and marketing teams.
    Keep up to date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms.
    Maximize followers’ social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
    Ensure that approaches to social media are relevant and appropriate for each medium.
    Continuous research into new relevant social media channels and their impact on the brands marketing.
    Build reporting frameworks to evaluate return on investment on the various platforms.
    Analyze social media insights to guide future social media campaigns.
    Work to look at ways social media can work within wider campaigns. 
    Develop a content calendar across all platforms including email communications and ensure a constant supply of relevant content.
    Search social media for off-diary stories and content.
    Plan and deliver community management strategies through social media.

    Content Creation
    Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.
    Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans

    Public Relations
    Press releases
    Plan, organize and host company conferences, trade shows, and marketing events.
    Plan and manage project marketing events and evaluating their success
    Create and manage strategic relationship between brand, PR agency and media houses

    Sales Support
    Work closely with sales team to identify opportunities for new client acquisition
    Support sales and lead generation efforts.
    Co-ordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.

    Gather and analyze data.
    Report to marketing director, manager and/or coordinators.
    Monitor customer bases and identify new ones.

    Bachelor's or Master’s degree in marketing, communications or similar field etc. with a minimum of a 2.1 preferred
    Good understanding of a marketing software and social media platforms.
    Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
    Demonstrable passion in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
    Numerically literate, strong analytical skills, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
    Strong creative outlook, a sense of aesthetics and a love for excellent output and witty communication
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Outstanding multitasking abilities.
    Strong project management skills
    Confident and dynamic personality.
    Additional related short courses beneficial.
